Another spot fly but no garden warbler

5th June 15        early morning         mid section

sunny & warm, 13-17°c,  1012mb,  SE 6 - SW 10 mph

Ian and myself spent a lot of this visit searching for yesterday possible garden warbler family but with no success. We did however find another spotted flycatcher feeding in what I call the Annex Oak ( it's the old oak tree in the western border at the top of the Barleyfield ). Whilst watching the flycatcher a whitethroat flew across the top of Barleyfield to land in the scubbie finger of vegetation pointing north from the top entrance. (This was the first whitethroat to return to the Barleyfield this spring but hasn't been seen or heard for two weeks ).
We also had a painted lady butterfly in Compton Rough, the first this year.
